Breeding program
A Pevisa program for fighting hereditary defects and diseases has been accepted for the Stabyhoun. The current program is in effect until the end of 2015. According to the program, dogs used for breeding must have a hip score certificate. The dog must be at least 12 months old at the time of scoring. The hip score must be at least C for dogs used for breeding. The number of offspring has also been limited. Dogs used for breeding can have 21 offspring registered in the Kennel Club, but the last litter over this limit will be registered in whole.
